Who We Assist
We provide mobile allied health services to clients in their own homes using a referral system. This means that once a client is referred to Health Uniting, our team will arrange the most appropriate practitioner from our organisation who best suits that client’s needs. Our Health Uniting team members are highly trained in a variety of areas to aid in rehabilitation and recovery caused by illness, mental health problems, hospitalisations and physical issues. To give the best care possible for unwell people in a Home Care environment, or for NDIS recipients, our staff are sourced from a range of health professions.

Our Services
Health Uniting is a professional allied health company. Our mobile services are delivered to support individuals in recovery who have recently left hospital after major procedures; experiencing health complications due to disability or ageing, or who are enduring mental health concerns.
Each of our team members is trained to provide specialised health services and deliver them in a professional and caring way. Health Uniting uses a holistic approach to ensure that our client’s goals are thoroughly addressed in a positive manner. Our services are outlined in the following.
Physiotherapist
Physiotherapy is aimed at rehabilitating and improving a person’s ability to move and function using hands-on treatment, including massage. They can diagnose an injury and recommend the appropriate manual therapy or mobility aid if necessary.
Exercise Physiotherapist
An exercise physiotherapist provides lifestyle education and modification techniques to support those with a wide range of chronic health conditions. This is a hands-off treatment which provides specific clinical exercise programs for rehabilitation purposes.
Occupational Therapist
Occupational therapists use therapeutic methods to assist a person to fulfill their daily routines in the physical, psychological and social aspects of human functioning. These methods can include exercise, capacity building and the use of assisting technologies.
Podiatrists
Podiatrists are experts in foot physiology and assist people in the care of their lower limbs including the foot and ankle, they advise and support older people to reduce fall risk.
Psychologist
A psychologist studies normal and abnormal mental states, perceptual, cognitive, emotional and social issues, behaviour and how individuals relate. They provide services that assist people to overcome mental and social difficulties.
Speech Pathologist
A speech pathologist is a speech and language therapist, who diagnoses and treats physical communication disorders. They assist a client in overcoming speech issues arising from injuries or medical conditions.
Dietitians
Dietitians help people to understand their relationship between food and health and provide both assessment and intervention to ensure they are receiving adequate nutrition. A dietitian alters their clients’ nutrition based upon their medical condition and individual needs.
Massage Therapist
Massage is the manipulation of the body's soft tissues using the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms or a device. It is used to treat body stress or pain or to overcome injury

Referral and Consultation – The Connection
Health Uniting has created an efficient and prompt process to connect our specialised services with your clients using our online form. Initially you must complete a client referral and then we’ll confirm receipt via email or text.
After we receive the request, our team will assign the right allied health professional to consult with the client and our team will inform you immediately. When our professional makes an appointment with the client, you should receive the scheduled details within 48 hours. The client will be treated within the week and once this is done, the outcome will be communicated to you. You will be sent a full consultation report for your files within 5 business days.
We believe that this is the best process to connect clients and health professionals under the guidance of a referee, for positive outcomes in terms of a caring health response and good results. Our staff are covered by professional indemnity insurance, public liability, criminal checks and are registered with the correct allied health boards. About Us
Our company, Health Uniting, was established in 2018 by a passionate group of practitioners with a targeted mission to offer high quality mobile allied health services to the public. They saw a need for a home and community care service for clients who are not required to stay in hospital, but still need ongoing and sometimes crucial care in the home.
These services are often essential for clients whose enduring health issues can only be resolved with constant and consistent attention for either a full recovery or health maintenance. Health Uniting views our service offer with great responsibility, and we ensure that our company is comprised from a group of experienced allied health service providers.
As an integral part of our service plan, we have taken steps to ensure that a team leader/ doctor is available to support our staff members when consulting with clients. The practitioners and attending consultants who work with us support and uphold the values Health Uniting represents.

Who We Serve
Health Uniting allied health mobile services reaches out across the Sydney Metropolitan area as well as greater Sydney. Presently we are focussed in the Northern Suburbs and Northern Beaches, and are continuing to expand to assist community members in attaining their health and wellness goals. We come to you once the referral process has been confirmed.
Australia and particularly Sydney, is a diverse and greatly multicultural society with a rich mix of language and heritage. Health Uniting welcomes and onboards this diversity by including access to different languages when delivering health services to clients from non-English speaking backgrounds.
